Navon is seeking a platform-focused integrations engineer to connect mid-market tools—ERP, CRM, project management, and more—while building robust data mappings and observability. You will work to ensure integrations endure real-world data quirks and evolving upstream changes.

The role emphasizes collaboration with forward-deployed engineers to unblock client deployments, turning bespoke connectors into scalable platform solutions, with remote options and NYC office access.

Qualifications

Experience with third-party APIs, webhooks, auth flows, and rate limits.
Data-mapping judgment: when to normalize, when to mirror, and when to refuse.
Comfort with TypeScript and Node, and debugging systems you did not build.
Patience and rigor with messy, real-world data.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain integrations with major systems: project management, accounting, ERPs, CRMs, email, document stores.
Design sync and mapping layers robust to messy data and long-term habits.
Make integrations observable and self-healing to prevent client failures from upstream changes.
Turn one-off connectors into reusable platform integrations to accelerate deployments.
Collaborate with forward-deployed engineers to unblock client systems.
