Breakthrough T1D is seeking a Development Manager to lead integrated fundraising efforts in the Southeast Florida Chapter, with a remote role based in Southern Florida (Ft. Lauderdale, Miami or Boca Raton).

This role focuses on donor and volunteer engagement, revenue growth, and strategic partnership development to expand the chapter's impact. You will manage an event portfolio, collaborate with national partners, and guide volunteers to drive year-over-year fundraising results while upholding

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years combined experience in donor development, volunteer engagement, operations and project management.
• Nonprofit experience preferred.
• Experience managing large scale community-based fundraising events (walks, galas, etc.) with revenue responsibilities over $500k.

Responsibilities

• Fundraising & Engagement – drive revenue growth and donor engagement within assigned event portfolio.
• Volunteer Management – recruit, cultivate and manage volunteer leaders.
• Awareness – promote Breakthrough T1D's mission and engage community in research and advocacy.
• Administration and Management – maintain policies, develop fundraising platforms, monitor KPI progress.
