Job summary

Breakthrough T1D is seeking a Part-Time Temporary Development Coordinator for the Greater Wilmington Chapter to support fundraising, volunteers, and events. The role works with the Chapter Director to grow donor engagement and event impact across signature events, walks, and community initiatives.

You will independently manage projects, coordinate logistics, and maintain donor communications, while thriving in a fast‑paced, community‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• Two or more years in fundraising or related fields with event experience.
• Ability to manage multiple events and donor relationships with autonomy.
• Strong written and verbal communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of signature events, galas, and golf fundraisers.
• Recruit volunteers, participants, sponsors, and donors; track commitments.
• Coordinate logistics with vendors, venues, and partners; ensure donor experiences.
• Provide day‑to‑day donor, sponsor, and volunteer follow‑up and stewardship.
