Job summary

Breakthrough T1D is seeking a Development Manager to drive integrated fundraising across our Long Island chapter, expanding donor and volunteer engagement and revenue across multiple events. The role emphasizes relationship-building with donors and volunteers to support growth and mission impact.

The position requires strong fundraising, communication, and project management skills, with occasional travel to NYC.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of fundraising experience in a mission-driven org with revenue responsibilities >$500k.
• Proven ability to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors and supporters.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue and engagement plans to achieve personal and chapter goals.
• Recruit, cultivate, and manage volunteer leaders and committees.
• Promote Breakthrough T1D mission and engage community in research, advocacy, and trials.
• Coordinate budgeting, KPI monitoring, and pipeline strategies with partners.
