Job summary

American Heart Association is seeking a Development Coordinator to support school fundraising for the Kids Heart Challenge. This remote temporary role supports data entry, donor and event details, and coordination with the RVP and Development Directors.

The position begins Oct 2, 2025 and runs through May 2026 (approximately 30 weeks), with a 25-hour work week and mornings preferred. You will work from home, using Microsoft Dynamics or Luminate-like systems, prepare presentations, respond to

Qualifications

At least three years’ experience in administrative work, project coordination, and/or event management systems with strong attention to detail.
Experience in event planning, organizing, consultation, and event management preferred; proficient in web conferencing software.
Strong ability to juggle multiple tasks, and to work with teams and volunteers.

Responsibilities

Meet regularly with directors and volunteers to maintain open communication and achieve objectives.
Respond to internal and external inquiries with timely, knowledgeable support.
Prepare presentations and documentation, including meeting minutes, and support Directors/Sr. Directors.
Work independently and in teams on special projects and ongoing initiatives.
Enter, maintain, and report critical donor data and events; generate reports as needed.
