Job summary

The American Heart Association in Milwaukee is seeking a Development Coordinator to provide administrative support to our Executive Director and campaign leads for Heart Walk and Hard Hats with Heart. The role offers a 37.5-hour work week with a hybrid schedule and ample professional development resources.

The position emphasizes coordinating events, managing CRM data, processing donations, and supporting staff calendars.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3+ years of relevant administrative experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and collaboration.
• Experience coordinating corporate events (in-person and virtual).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Canva experience preferred.
• Daily local travel with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist staff with day-to-day fundraising and volunteer activities, including CRM management.
• Coordinate logistics for events and meetings (pre-, day-of, post-).
• Develop and maintain information in CRM and event software.
• Handle report generation and data manipulation across systems.
• Perform office management and receptionist duties including mail and calls.
• Process invoices, track expenses, and handle donations.
• Maintain staff calendars and scheduling.
• Create event and meeting materials as needed.
