Job summary

Seattle Works is seeking a Development and Communications Manager to oversee fundraising events, donor stewardship, and communications strategy. Responsibilities include planning the annual Swank auction and gala, building sponsor relationships, and maintaining donor data to support campaigns.

You will drive multi-channel communications, craft content for newsletters and social media, and collaborate with staff, volunteers, and partners to advance equity and inclusive engagement.

Qualifications

• Understanding of equity and inclusion in donor outreach.
• Proven track record in event planning and donor stewardship.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple programs and volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of Swank, our annual auction and gala.
• Coordinate Seattle Works Day communications, sponsor management, and after party.
• Steward corporate engagement and relationships; build sponsor networks.
• Oversee individual giving programs and donor data management.
• Lead Seattle Works’ communications strategy and materials.
