Job summary

Key to Change is seeking a Communications & Development Manager to lead external communications, digital engagement, and fundraising efforts. You will craft compelling stories, manage newsletters, and coordinate campaigns across website, email, and events to advance the organization's mission in Renton.

You will collaborate with leadership to build donor pipelines, maintain Salesforce records, and analyze campaign performance while ensuring a consistent organizational voice across channels.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressively responsible professional experience in nonprofit development, communications, or related field.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using data to drive actions and measure success (opens, conversions, donations).
• CRM experience; Salesforce preferred; email marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Write clear, persuasive communications for websites, newsletters, and fundraising appeals.
• Develop and manage digital engagement and donor communications calendars.
• Lead annual giving and targeted fundraising campaigns across channels.
• Maintain donor records in Salesforce and analyze campaign performance.
• Collaborate with director and staff to align communications with strategy.
