Job summary

Arango seeks its first dedicated developer advocate to join our product team and report to the Chief Product Officer. Help developers install and run GraphRAG apps on their data within 30 minutes and publicly demonstrate the solution beating DIY alternatives.

You will build Arango’s developer community, content, and event presence from scratch, with feedback feeding the roadmap. Expect hands-on coding, docs, and active engagement with graph technologies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Python experience with real-world apps.
• Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, Go, or Java.
• Hands-on experience with LLM apps and retrieval pipelines.
• Demonstrated ability to write technical content for developers.
• Experience public speaking, talks, or workshops.
• 2+ years of Docker and Kubernetes deployments.

Responsibilities

• Build reference applications, quickstarts, and sample repos for end-to-end problems.
• Publish benchmarks and reflect on where GraphRAG excels vs. vanilla RAG.
• Teach in public via technical posts, talks, workshops, and live builds.
• Engage with AI engineers in communities, meetups, and conferences.
• Provide feedback from developers to the product team to influence roadmap.
