Job summary

Idera, Inc. is hiring a Developer Content & Product Marketing Specialist to own how developers discover, understand, and love our API.

You will translate technical capability into compelling positioning, messaging, and content, working with product managers and engineers to craft launches and docs that developers actually read. You will write landing pages, launch posts, and in‑product copy while collaborating with the docs/DX team to improve onboarding and quickstarts.

Qualifications

3+ years in developer content, technical writing, developer marketing, product marketing, or closely related role.
Strong technical reading ability; you should read code and discuss technical concepts.
Exceptional writing skills with a focus on UX and content design.
Native or near-native English fluency and excellent communication.
Willingness to work US hours with some overlap with teams.

Responsibilities

Own positioning and messaging for API products grounded in technical understanding.
Plan and execute product launches and feature announcements with technical narratives and GTM assets.
Write high-quality, developer-facing content: landing pages, posts, emails, in-app copy, sales enablement.
Collaborate with product/engineering to develop deep product knowledge and test APIs.
Improve the developer journey with onboarding flows, quickstarts, and end-to-end evaluation experience.
Conduct win/loss analysis, customer interviews, and competitive research to sharpen messaging.
Define metrics for activation, adoption, and content performance.
