Job summary

Unique Escapes is a travel company focused on curating personalized, high-quality group travel experiences. We are seeking a motivated Event Destination Specialist to guide clients from inquiry to booking, recommending destinations, and turning visions into well-organized itineraries.

This remote role emphasizes sales, research, and relationship-building with clients and suppliers. You will craft proposals, coordinate logistics, and follow up to close bookings across weddings, corporate events,

Qualifications

• Strong sales, communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with a warm and professional tone.
• Strong organization, time management and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple leads, clients and deadlines independently.
• Comfortable using CRM systems, email tools, calendars, spreadsheets and booking platforms.

Responsibilities

• Generate, qualify, and follow up with leads for destination weddings, group trips, milestone celebrations, corporate retreats, incentive travel, and special events.
• Conduct discovery conversations to understand destination preferences, event goals, budget, dates, group size and expectations.
• Research destinations, resorts, venues, cruises, excursions, and travel packages.
• Prepare professional quotes, proposals, itineraries, room-block summaries, and reservation details.
• Present options clearly, highlighting value, inclusions, and unique experiences.
• Guide clients through decision-making and booking with confidence and professionalism.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, travel suppliers, resorts, cruise lines and internal teams.
• Track leads, sales activity, proposals, payments, deposits, deadlines and client requests in CRM.
• Coordinate group accommodations, transfers, excursions and pre/post-event stays.
• Follow up consistently to move opportunities forward and close bookings.
• Maintain accurate client records and booking details.
