Figma is seeking a Design Manager to lead internal Design Systems and Design Infrastructure, guiding foundations, tokens, variables, component libraries, tooling, governance, and shared infrastructure that power Figma's product suite. Qualifications

• 4+ years of design management experience with direct people leadership across multiple workstreams.
• Experience evolving an internal design system at scale and driving adoption.
• Deep, hands-on Figma expertise and ability to lead organizational change.
• Experience connecting coded component systems with design libraries and design-to-code workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow designers across Figma's internal Design Systems foundations, tokens and variables, component libraries, internal tooling, governance, and adoption.
• Set an ambitious vision and quality bar for the internal design system across the product suite.
• Partner with Design, Product, and Engineering leaders on strategy, resourcing, and technical direction.
• Bring clarity to cross-functional work, balance coherence with team autonomy, and drive system adoption.
• Evolve the Design Systems operating model, including governance, reviews, documentation, and feedback loops.
• Hire, coach, retain, and develop an exceptional team across multiple workstreams.
