Job summary

Figma seeks an experienced Design Leader to oversee the Context Platform Pillar, driving Design Systems, Code, MCP, CMS, Community and related initiatives. You’ll guide a world-class design team, partner with product, engineering and research, and shape product strategy across the organization.

This is a full-time role based in the US or remote in the United States, with scope to expand as the work evolves.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of design management experience, including leading managers.
• Deep understanding of AI developments and component-driven design.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Figma's tools and mentoring teams.
• Proven track record partnering cross-functionally to solve design challenges.
• Strategic thinking and clear, proactive communication.

Responsibilities

• Hire, manage, and grow a multi‑team design group across pillar areas.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to improve processes and roadmaps.
• Advocate for your team's product areas across the org.
• Lead critique, sprint, and design review practices.
• Develop people management and strategic execution skills.
