Job summary

Figma is seeking an experienced Design Leader to oversee the Context Platform Pillar, guiding teams across Design Systems, Code, MCP, CMS, and Community. This role can be based in one of our US hubs or fully remote within the United States.

You will hire, mentor, and align multiple design teams, partner with product and engineering to shape roadmaps, advocate for strategic direction, and lead design reviews and growth of leaders. Strong AI- and design-systems experience is key.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of design management experience, including leading managers.
• Deep understanding of AI developments and design-systems workflows.
• Strong ability to mentor design teams and influence across org.

Responsibilities

• Hire, manage, and develop a multi-team design group spanning Design Systems, Code, MCP, CMS, and Community
• Partner with Product and Engineering leads to improve team processes and strategy
• Develop a perspective on your team's product areas and advocate across the organization
• Lead critique, sprint, and design review practices across the pillar
• Advance your skills in people management in a growth-oriented environment
• Operate hands-on across people management and strategy/execution
