Job summary

IPS - Integrated Project Services, LLC is seeking a Design Safety Engineer to join our team with flexibility for US office locations or remote work. The candidate will help develop, implement, and maintain the IPS Design Division Safety Program, ensuring designs can be constructed, operated, and maintained safely while protecting personnel, property, and the environment.

The role involves coordinating with directors, project managers, and clients to define scope and scheduling, performing PHAs

Qualifications

Knowledge of OSHA 1910 and 1926 requirements.
Experience interfacing with cross-functional facility owner teams.
Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of the IPS Design Division Safety Program.
Coordinate with directors, PMs, and clients to plan scope and scheduling of activities.
Conduct process safety reviews (PHA, HAZOP, What-if, LOPA) and ergonomic reviews as needed.
Perform process safety calculations (PRD, LEL, HAC) and ensure regulatory compliance.
Train IPS personnel on process safety management and safety procedures.
Assist in business development through safety deliverables and client interactions.
