Job summary

IPS - Integrated Project Services, LLC is seeking a Design Safety Engineer to join our team, with the option to work remotely from U.S. offices (MA, NJ, PA, MD, NC, KS, CA).

The role focuses on building and maintaining IPS Design Division safety programs and ensuring designs are safe, compliant, and constructible. You will lead PHAs, risk assessments, and safety reviews, while coordinating with directors, managers, and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related science.
• Knowledge of OSHA 1910 and 1926 requirements.
• Experience interacting with cross-functional facility owner teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality process safety support.
• Coordinate with directors, project managers, and clients to determine scope and scheduling.
• Lead process hazard analyses and design risk assessments (PHA, HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA).
• Develop IPS process safety programs (PHA, PRD, HAC).
• Train IPS personnel on process safety management.
