Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Design Project Manager in Dallas, TX. You will manage design development, consultant contracts, and project communications, coordinating with owners, regulators, and clients.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a related field and 4 years of experience, with proficiency in CAD/ BIM tools, MS Office, and BIM software. Telecommuting is permitted nationwide in the US, with about 10% travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture and Urban Design, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
• MS Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, and Power Apps.
• AutoCAD, Rhino, Grasshopper/scripting to develop technical 2D drawings and 3D studies.
• SketchUp.
• GIS.

• PMWeb Client Project Information Management Software.
• Budget understanding and development.
• General knowledge of Architectural and Engineering construction elements and reading of plans, details, sections, elevations and reports.

Responsibilities

• Manage the project development during pre-design and design phases of the project.
• Manage consultant contracts, including review/approval of payments, amendments, schedule extensions and closeout.
• Oversee design development to move project from design into bid/construct phases.
• Provide comments on technical design reviews.
• Perform high-level reviews for conformance with scope and stakeholder requirements.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve project and program issues.
• Prepare reports for management and clients.
• Act as liaison between client and end users and government agencies.
• Arrange field inspections with design consultants on site as needed.
