The role requires a master's degree and 5+ years in DER or smart grid fields, with strong analytical and communication skills for remote collaboration and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with distributed energy resources.
• Strong understanding of solar, storage, EVs, and demand response.
• Familiarity with energy markets, regulatory frameworks, and utilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the technical and economic feasibility of various distributed energy resources for integration into existing energy systems.
• Develop strategies and frameworks for the effective deployment, operation, and management of DER portfolios.
• Evaluate DER performance data, identify optimization opportunities, and recommend operational improvements.
• Collaborate with utility partners, technology providers, and regulatory bodies to advocate for and implement DER-friendly policies and standards.
• Conduct market research on emerging DER technologies and business models to inform strategic planning.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on DER integration, performance, and market trends for stakeholders.
