Placements24 is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with expertise in grid integration to remotely support renewable energy projects and grid connection studies from anywhere. You will analyze stability, fault levels, and protection coordination while ensuring compliance with grid codes.

You will collaborate with operators, clients, and internal teams, guiding protection, control, and automation strategies.

Qualifications

Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Power Engineering.
8+ years of experience in grid integration or related field.
Expertise in grid codes, interconnection standards, and regulatory frameworks.
Experience with PSCAD, EMTP-RV, or PowerFactory DIgSILENT.

Responsibilities

Lead the technical assessment and design for grid connection of renewable energy projects.
Develop and review grid interconnection studies, including stability, fault level, and protection coordination studies.
Ensure compliance with utility grid codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with grid operators, clients, and internal engineering teams to resolve integration challenges.
Provide expert technical guidance on power system protection, control, and automation for grid-connected assets.
Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for grid integration engineering.
