Solar Landscape, the leading commercial rooftop solar developer, seeks a senior power systems professional to lead grid strategy efforts across U.S. markets.

You will evaluate utility planning, DER integration, hosting capacity, and pilot projects such as DERMS and dynamic hosting capacity. Reporting to the Director of Interconnection, you will collaborate with utilities and internal teams to advance solar and battery deployments, translate complex grid issues into actionable recommendations,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10–20+ years in electric utility planning, transmission or distribution engineering, DER integration.
• Strong understanding of utility planning, system constraints and capital planning.
• Experience with DERs, renewables, energy storage, or grid technologies.
• Ability to influence utility stakeholders and translate grid issues into business recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead grid strategy efforts for distributed energy resources across U.S. markets.
• Evaluate utility planning frameworks and hosting capacity impacts.
• Develop pilot projects like DERMS and dynamic hosting capacity.
• Collaborate with utilities and internal teams to advance deployment of solar and storage.
• Translate complex grid data into actionable leadership recommendations.
