Job summary

Solar Landscape, LLC is seeking a senior power systems professional to lead the company’s grid strategy efforts, reporting to the Director of Interconnection. You will evaluate planning frameworks and investments to enable distributed solar and storage deployment across U.S. markets.

The role requires deep experience in utility transmission and distribution planning and a track record influencing utility stakeholders across multiple markets.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Deep understanding of utility planning methodologies and grid modernization.
• Experience with DER, battery storage, or related grid tech.

Responsibilities

• Lead utility planning and engineering teams to increase hosting capacity.
• Develop data-driven proposals aligning DER deployment with reliability and planning objectives.
• Identify and advance DERMS, dynamic hosting capacity, and non-wire solutions.
