Hanson Professional Services Inc. is seeking a Deputy CAD Administrator to lead CAD standards, support design teams, and drive efficient workflows across offices. The role can be located in any offices, hybrid or remote, reflecting our flexible, client-focused culture.

You will maintain CAD libraries, assist with training, coordinate software updates, and help implement scalable CAD processes that support project delivery and growth.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in CAD, Engineering Technology, Drafting, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5 to 10 years of CAD platform experience in a professional setting.
• Proficiency with MicroStation and Bentley OpenX products and ProjectWise; other BIM tools are a plus.
• Strong CAD standards, plotting, and file management knowledge.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and communicate solutions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enforce CAD standards, libraries, and best practices.
• Document CAD procedures and workflows.
• Support quality control reviews to ensure deliverables meet standards.
• Provide day-to-day CAD user support and onboarding for new employees.
• Assist with software installations, updates, licenses, and project setup.
• Support client Workspace deployment and CAD tool enhancements.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to resolve CAD challenges.
• Identify opportunities to improve CAD workflows and automation.
