Job summary

MVB Financial Corp. is seeking a Deposit Operations Analyst II to support multiple back-office bank operations, including electronic banking, debit card services, and FinTech domains. The role emphasizes risk mitigation, accuracy, and strong teamwork in a remote-capable setting.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in financial services, familiarity with branch operations, and strong data analysis skills. Flexible hours and cross-unit collaboration are expected to drive operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in the financial services industry.
• Proficient with branch operation activities, terminology and products/services for retail and commercial accounts.
• Knowledge of NACHA Rules; potential for AAP Certification if required.

Responsibilities

• Implement related state and federal banking compliance regulations and bank policies to process wires.
• Provide support to peers and ensure uninterrupted completion of daily tasks.
• Support all areas of MVB as requested.
• Perform duties independently to support bank goals.
• Ensure client satisfaction through accuracy, courtesy and clear communication.
• Daily tasks include activity reviews, exception reporting, non-post & NSF processing, Fed corrections, chargeback processing, debit card fraud review, Reg E and check fraud processing.
• Identify and modify procedures to improve service levels and efficiency.
