Quorum Federal Credit Union is a remote-first financial institution seeking a Senior Operations Associate to oversee daily deposits, RTP, ACH, and wires, and to drive process improvements using automation and AI-assisted tools across Operations.

The role requires 4+ years in transactional processing within banking, strong Excel and data skills, and the ability to collaborate across multiple banking systems while staying compliant with applicable regulations; US residency is required.

Qualifications

• At least four years in transactional processing in banking; two in Operations.
• Experience with deposit/payment systems (ACH, wires, RTP) and digital banking.
• Experience with AI-assisted decision tools and automation; identify automation candidates.
• Strong knowledge of transactional processing regulations in financial institutions.
• Advanced Excel, data exports, and basic SQL/BI querying.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily processing for deposits, RTP, ACH, and wires with controls.
• Coordinate daily EFT work and serve as contact when the Manager is unavailable.
• Lead projects on system updates, service enhancements, and process changes.
• Identify automation opportunities; test solutions and measure impact.
• Collaborate with vendors and regulators on policies, compliance, and contingency.
• Write and maintain procedures; use AI tools for exception handling and risk.
