Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a Deltek Financial Specialist to provide day-to-day Deltek Vantagepoint support for the finance team and other employees. You will troubleshoot timesheets, expenses, projects, and approvals, while documenting common issues and escalating complex system matters as needed.

This fully remote role requires core hours 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM PST and a focus on accuracy, documentation, and effective communication with non-technical users.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Deltek Vantagepoint in a production environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for system and user issues.
• High attention to detail and data accuracy when maintaining and correcting records.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
• Customer service mindset with professional support responses.
• Experience with accounts payable processes within Deltek or similar financial systems.
• Capability to monitor, prioritize, and manage multiple support tickets.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to Deltek Vantagepoint support tickets.
• Troubleshoot basic system issues and answer user questions clearly.
• Assist employees with timesheet and expense issues for accurate entries.
• Investigate project access problems, charge code questions, and approval routing.
• Perform routine data maintenance and correct records.
• Create and maintain SOPs and knowledge-base articles.
• Document recurring problems to improve usage.
• Escalate advanced issues to appropriate owners or resources.
• Collaborate with finance and stakeholders to ensure compliant use of Deltek Vantagepoint.
