Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Delivery Leader to oversee the development, testing, and implementation of a large-scale healthcare system for State Medicaid clients. This role leads multiple teams, ensuring compliant, high-quality solutions and successful onboarding of new customers.

The position is fully remote with up to 25% travel. You will partner with managers, analysts, developers, and operations to drive delivery excellence and process improvements across the program.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant professional experience required.
• 10+ years in software delivery with 5+ years in leadership or management roles.
• Experience overseeing delivery for enterprise healthcare systems, preferably Medicaid-related.
• Excellent communication skills for executive audiences.
• Experience with matrixed teams and multi-vendor environments.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, requirements gathering, release & change management, maintenance & defect remediation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the client interface for project technology issues.
• Manage expectations, assess needs, and communicate urgency and priority.
• Develop trust and client relationships; add value to initiatives.
• Review deliverables for quality, accuracy, and contractual standards.
• Lead delivery of application development, systems integration, infra, and installation services.
• Define development plans and guide teams.
• Provide coaching and training to staff.
• Ensure staff knowledge of applications and technologies.
• Provide direction during requirements, testing, and programming support.
• Identify new capabilities and manage risks and issues.
• Coordinate technical presentations for stakeholders.
• Oversee the delivery of a COTS healthcare system for Medicaid clients.
• Ensure high-quality, compliant solutions and customer-specific configurations.
