Job summary

Westlake Financial is a leading auto finance company seeking a Dealer Account Manager to educate and train dealer partners in the assigned area while growing new sources. You will manage sales activities, consult on programs, and expand relationships with independent and franchise dealerships.

The role is full-time, travel-heavy, and performance-based with potential for six-figure earnings. Training is provided, and a supportive team environment is offered to drive success.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in Automotive, Finance and Sales (required).
• 1-2 years in a Sales role with a proven track record.
• College degree (preferred or equivalent work experience).
• Presentation skills from creation to delivery.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
• Strong computer skills and adaptability to new technology.
• Goal oriented with a desire for improvement and advancement.
• Able to communicate with diverse teams.
• Knowledge/Experience with DealerTrack, Routeone, or CUDL beneficial.
• Previous Outside Sales Experience preferred.
• Significant local travel with valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare presentations and proposals to communicate products to management at dealerships.
• Identify sales prospects and contact assigned accounts.
• Follow up on leads and referrals from field activity with dealers.
• Develop and grow dealer partners within independent and franchise channels.
• Maintain effective communication via phone and in-person visits with dealer partners.
• Provide solutions and rework vehicle loans for approval in a profitable manner.
