Job summary

Orgill is seeking a Senior Sales/BDM to expand dealer networks in the defined region. You will plan and execute prospecting strategies, drive dealer participation in sales and Retail Services programs, and coordinate conversions and store improvements.

The role requires travel to customer locations and participation in regional events, with training responsibilities for sales teams. A background in hardlines and wholesale retail is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A degree (Associate or Bachelor's) in a related field is preferred.
• Five+ years of experience in the hardlines industry or related wholesale/retail hardware sectors is preferred.
• Proficiency with Gmail, G Suite, and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record are required.
• Willingness to travel by car and air to customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new business in the defined region.
• Plan, develop, present and implement prospecting strategies to gain new dealer business.
• Manage dealer conversions and bin tagging projects through Orgill’s procedures.
• Collaborate with Retail Services to ensure successful implementations.
• Present and implement all vertical growth programs to dealers.
• Provide training to sales reps on programs, store planning, and conversions.
• Attend sales events, dealer markets, and regional shows as required.
• Provide regular reports on program activity and dealer market conditions.
• Monitor buying program pace for new accounts and report findings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
