Job summary

Orgill, Inc. seeks a field-based sales professional to prospect for new business in the defined region and to plan, present and implement strategies that increase dealer participation in Orgill’s sales and Retail Services programs.

Responsibilities include managing dealer conversions and bin tagging projects, collaborating with Retail Services Project Managers, presenting growth programs to dealers, and training sales staff on these initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate or Bachelor degree in a similar field is preferred.
• Five or more years of experience in the hardlines industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new business in the defined region assigned.
• Plan, develop, present and implement prospecting strategies to attain new customer business and increase dealer participation.
• Manage dealer supplier conversions and bin tagging projects through Orgill’s conversion procedures.
• Work closely with Retail Services Project Managers to ensure successful implementation.
• Present, sell and implement vertical growth programs to dealers.
• Provide training to sales representatives on vertical growth, store planning and conversion programs.
• Attend sales, training, dealer market, regional shows and store openings.
• Provide periodic updates of BDM, conversion, blitz and dealer market reports.
• Monitor and report on buying program pace for new accounts.
• Other duties as assigned
