Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Certified Payroll & Prevailing Wage/Apprenticeship Compliance Coordinator to manage Davis-Bacon Act and related wage documentation for federally funded projects. You will ensure accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of payroll and apprenticeship records while coordinating with tax and legal teams.

The role requires familiarity with Kronos, Workday, and PowerMax, plus strong attention to detail. Remote position with competitive benefits and a discretionary annual bonus.

Qualifications

• Must have payroll/compliance knowledge for government contracts.
• Experience with DBRA and prevailing wage is preferred.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Compile weekly payroll reports, timecards, and pay stubs for federal projects.
• Verify employee coverage and submit reports to third-party reviewers.
• Maintain audit-ready certified payroll and apprenticeship records.
• Support regulatory and customer audits and inquiries with accurate documentation.
• Coordinate with legal/contracts teams on risk-transfer provisions.
