Job summary

Humana seeks a Data Protection Investigations Analyst II to partner with Enterprise Information Protection, HR, Legal and other teams to investigate data exposure, insider risk, and policy violations. You will triage alerts across email, endpoints, cloud apps, and data platforms, document findings, and coordinate response with stakeholders.

The role focuses on evidence-based decisions and continuous improvement of workflows.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field.
2+ years of technical experience, including at least 1 year in data security, DLP, security operations or insider risk.
Experience triaging security alerts, reviewing logs, collecting evidence, and supporting investigations.
Working knowledge of DLP, data classification, information protection, and monitoring.
Ability to analyze routine to moderately complex issues and follow procedures for evidence-based recommendations.
Experience supporting centralized intake, ticket handling, and case management.
Effective written and verbal communication to explain data security controls.

Responsibilities

Triage DLP alerts and support Data Protection Operations with investigation, evidence review, and stakeholder coordination.
Investigate indicators of insider risk and data exposure using user activity, data sensitivity, and business context.
Coordinate response, escalation, and communication with Threat Management, Legal, Privacy, HR, and business teams.
Maintain accurate case notes, summaries, and runbooks, improving triage consistency and process efficiency.
