Job summary

Humana is seeking a Data Protection Security Investigations Analyst 2 to partner with EIP stakeholders and business teams. You will investigate potential insider risk, review evidence, and coordinate with Legal, Privacy, HR, and Compliance for effective data protection controls.

The role emphasizes documentation, queue management, and process improvements while maintaining privacy and regulatory standards. Remote work options may apply, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
• Two+ years of relevant technical experience including data security, DLP, or insider risk.
• Experience triaging security alerts, reviewing logs, collecting evidence, and supporting investigations.
• Working knowledge of DLP, data classification, information protection, and security monitoring.
• Ability to analyze routine to moderately complex issues and follow established procedures.
• Experience supporting centralized intake, ticket handling, and case management.

Responsibilities

• Triage DLP alerts and analyze controls across email, endpoint, cloud, and collaboration platforms.
• Explain data protection controls to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Serve as intake point for data protection inquiries and coordinate investigations through to resolution or escalation.
