Job summary

Humana is seeking a Data Protection Security Investigations Analyst 2 to collaborate with EIP and Humana teams in identifying high-risk insider activity and implementing controls to mitigate data loss or malicious activity. The role supports enterprise Data Protection Operations through level two alert triage, evidence review, and stakeholder coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Two or more years of relevant technical experience, including at least one year in Data Security, Cyber Data Protection, DLP, security operations, insider risk, incident response support, or a related field.
• Experience triaging security alerts, reviewing logs, collecting evidence, documenting findings, and supporting investigations or incident response.
• Working knowledge of DLP, data classification, information protection, security monitoring, data handling, and common exposure scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Triage security alerts and assess evidence to support investigations.
• Review logs and collect evidence for data protection incidents.
• Coordinate with Enterprise Information Protection, Legal, Privacy, Compliance, HR, and business teams.
• Document case notes and maintain consistent, evidence-based decisions.
• Explain data protection controls to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Education
