Job summary

Humana is seeking a Data Protection Security Investigations Analyst 2 to partner with EIP and business teams in protecting sensitive information. You will triage alerts, review evidence, and coordinate investigations across Legal, Privacy, Compliance, and HR to mitigate insider risk and data exposure.

You'll document findings and support enterprise Data Protection Operations while aligning with enterprise standards and subsidiary needs. Travel may be required for training or meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 2+ years in data security, DLP, or insider risk investigations.
• Experience triaging security alerts, collecting evidence, and supporting investigations.
• Working knowledge of DLP, data classification, and information protection.
• Ability to analyze routine to moderately complex issues and follow procedures.
• Experience supporting centralized intake and case management.
• Effective written and verbal communication for explaining Data Security controls.
• Commitment to accurate documentation and continuous improvement of workflows.
• Ability to use approved AI-enabled tools while protecting sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Analyze DLP alerts across email, endpoint, web, cloud, and data classifications to validate policy behavior.
• Coordinate investigations and escalate when needed, documenting findings.
• Maintain objective, evidence-based case notes and runbooks for audits and reviews.
• Coordinate with Legal, Privacy, HR, and business units to resolve investigations.
• Provide clear, actionable recommendations based on data and context.
