Highmark Health is seeking a Data Protection Engineer to implement and maintain protection infrastructure across on‑prem and cloud environments. You will configure DLP/DSPM policies, troubleshoot incidents, and automate tasks with PowerShell and Python.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
• 5 years in Information Security and system analysis.
• 5 years deploying and maintaining infrastructure for DLP software.
• 5 years creating and managing DLP policies.
• 3 years programming in Python, JavaScript, Bash, or PowerShell.
• 3 years architecture support for cloud providers (GCP/AWS/Azure).
• Familiarity with HITRUST CSF, NIST, PCI, HIPAA, and ISO 27001/2.
• Bachelor's or higher in a relevant field; advanced cloud certs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain data protection infrastructure across platforms.
• Collaborate on design of DLP/DSPM solutions for on-prem and cloud (GCP/AWS/Azure).
• Configure data protection policies and tune detection parameters.
• Troubleshoot incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Support projects with testing, implementation, and documentation.
• Use PowerShell and Python to automate deployment and maintenance.
• Collaborate within the team to expand data protection expertise.
• Stay updated on data protection technologies and compliance requirements.
