Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking a Data Protection Engineer to implement and operate data protection infrastructure across on-prem and cloud environments. You will work with senior engineers, troubleshoot incidents, and contribute to policy development for DLP, DSPM, and encryption.

Requirements include 5 years in data loss prevention and information security, proficiency in scripting (Python/PowerShell), and cloud architecture experience (GCP/AWS/Azure).

Qualifications

• 5 years of Data Loss Prevention experience.
• 5 years in Information Security and Systems Analysis.
• 5 years deploying and maintaining infrastructure for DLP software.
• 5 years creating and managing DLP policies.
• 3 years with at least two programming languages (Python/PowerShell/Java/JavaScript).
• 3 years designing architecture for GCP/AWS/Azure cloud services.
• Bachelor's degree in related field; Master's preferred.
• Advanced cloud provider certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain data protection infrastructure across platforms.
• Deploy and configure DLP, DSPM, and data de-identification solutions.
• Collaborate on design of data protection solutions in on-prem and cloud.
• Configure data protection policies and tune detection parameters.
• Troubleshoot incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Assist with testing, implementation, and documentation of projects.
• Develop scripts to improve deployment efficiency and standardize practices.
• Stay current with data protection technologies and compliance requirements.
