Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, growing them technically and professionally
Drive hiring and team scaling to align with the roadmap
Own technical strategy for the data platform, including database version upgrades and migration off legacy datastores
Partner with product and engineering to define data models, schemas, and analytics architecture
Plan migration and reindex timing with product teams for customer-operated, on-prem deployments
Drive performance optimization across the owned data platform
Champion adoption of AI-assisted development tools and workflows
Own production support for fielded deployments, including incident response
