Job summary

Hidden Jobs is seeking a senior data engineer to lead the development of a unified data platform for a healthcare-focused product portfolio. This remote US role partners with the architecture group to refine design and own end-to-end implementation and integration.

You will own ingestion, modeling, and consumption surfaces, shape architecture from high-level guidance, and mentor a team of data engineers while ensuring data quality and scalable pipelines.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL proficiency and data modeling experience.
• Hands-on experience designing and operating cloud data platforms.
• Experience mentoring engineers and shaping engineering standards.
• Familiarity with ELT patterns and dbt or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Own design across ingestion, modeling, and consumption surfaces of the data platform.
• Shape architecture from high-level direction provided by architecture team.
• Build ingestion pipelines from diverse production sources.
• Transform raw data into business-ready datasets with a single metric definition.
• Set engineering standards including data quality and testing practices.
• Collaborate with platform/operations teams and mentor data engineers.
