Qualifications

• 2 years of professional data engineering or software development experience.
• Strong, demonstrated proficiency in SQL with complex queries.
• Experience with a cloud data warehouse or data platform (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Azure Synapse, or Databricks).
• Proficiency with Git-based version control and CI/CD workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and improve data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using Python.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data ingestion, transformation, and validation.
• Contribute to data modeling and maintain dataset integrity on the Snowflake platform.
• Integrate with Kafka-driven event streams for real-time data ingestion.
• Write tests, perform code reviews, and contribute to CI/CD with GitHub Actions.
• Implement logging, monitoring, and observability for pipelines; participate in on-call rotation.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, mentor teammates, and communicate blockers clearly.
