Job summary

Qualifications

• 2 years of professional data engineering or software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in SQL with complex queries against large datasets.
• Experience with at least one cloud data warehouse or data platform (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Azure Synapse, Databricks).
• Proficiency with Git-based version control and CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions).
• Experience with Python-based data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and improve data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using Python.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to support data ingestion, transformation, and validation.
• Contribute to data modeling and maintain data integrity in the Snowflake data platform.
• Integrate with Kafka-driven event streams for real-time data ingestion.
• Write clean, well-tested code and ensure unit/integration test coverage.
• Participate in code reviews and CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions).
• Implement logging and observability for pipelines and respond to production alerts.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and provide progress updates.
