Job summary

Ericsson is seeking an Associate Data Center Technician to support the installation, operation, and maintenance of equipment within hyperscale and enterprise data center environments. This entry-level role is well-suited for people beginning their careers in data center operations, telecommunications, or technical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of computer hardware, networking or data center infrastructure.
• Ability to safely use basic hand tools and follow detailed work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry and documentation.
• Comfort with physical work including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unpack, and stage equipment and cabling.
• Perform basic inventory checks and update tracking systems.
• Assist with rack positioning, leveling, and prep under guidance.
• Install rack accessories and perform MACD activities under supervision.
• Route and dress cabling and apply labels per standards.
• Capture serial numbers and installation records using templates.
• Follow safety, quality, and SOPs at all times.
