Job summary

#twiceasnice Recruiting is seeking a Business Development Executive to drive new business in data center and mission-critical infrastructure. This remote role focuses on identifying opportunities, building relationships with operators and contractors, and advancing proposals through the full sales cycle.

You will travel up to 50% (primarily domestic) and manage both new business and growth of existing accounts, collaborating with engineers on technical proposals for a national territory.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of B2B technical/engineered sales experience.
• Recent data center or mission-critical industry experience.
• Familiarity with the full B2B sales cycle and contract negotiations.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business across data center and mission-critical infrastructure markets.
• Build relationships with operators, developers, consultants, and contractors.
• Manage prospecting, proposals, pricing, negotiations, and closing activities.
• Grow existing accounts through repeat business and additional opportunities.
• Partner with engineers to develop accurate technical proposals.
• Identify target accounts, projects, decision-makers, and market entry points.
• Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings.
• Maintain pipeline, forecast, and opportunity information in CRM/ERP systems.
• Share customer and market feedback with engineering and leadership.
