Job summary

Belden Inc. seeks a Solution Account Manager, Data Center, to grow strategic accounts and drive opportunities within on-premise, cloud and CoLo environments. The SAM will coordinate multi-disciplinary resources to deliver tailored data center solutions and expand regional business.

The role demands deep data center knowledge, consultative selling, and the ability to engage C-Suite executives. Travel up to 50% is required; Belden offers hybrid/remote work options and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Experience in Data Center Automation, Power, Cooling, Compute/Storage and Network Architecture is preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant sales and technical experience in similar or adjacent markets.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; experience speaking to C-Suite executives.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Execute Belden’s Commercial Data Center Strategy as defined by the Sales Director and deliver outcomes under the Global Data Center Plan.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to identify and secure On-Premise, Cloud, and MTDC opportunities.
• Conduct needs analysis using a consultative sales approach and engage resources as needed.
• Collaborate with Solution Consultants to craft customizable solutions for customer outcomes.
• Coordinate with Field Sales to develop an effective channel strategy with contractors, integrators or partners.
• Drive expansion within Region and Target Account using Belden cabling and connectivity products.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Product Management to maximize volume, mix & margin.
• Contribute to strategic direction and relationship-building within Enterprise Sales Team.
• Promote partner-friendly strategies to enhance market intelligence and sales volume.
• Provide regular feedback to senior management on market potential.
