Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Repairs Lead in the Data Center Infrastructure organization to define and manage the end-to-end hardware repair program across its data center fleet. You will own repair turnaround time, backlog, and RMA processes with OEMs/ODMs, ensuring parts availability and uptime across sites.

As a subject matter expert, you will develop scalable repair processes, set quality targets, and drive fixes upstream with engineering and suppliers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data center operations as a manager/technical lead with responsibility for production availability.
• Proven track record running break-fix programs at large scale across multiple sites.
• Managed vendors, OEMs, or contract workforces to SLA outcomes and reviews.
• Hands-on technical depth in server, network, and rack-level hardware to verify repair quality.
• Built or substantially improved operational processes.
• Comfortable with ticket, telemetry, and inventory data to drive decisions.
• Bachelor's degree in relevant domain or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Define the global repair strategy including SLAs, prioritization, escalation, and reporting across sites.
• Own repair turnaround time and backlog with dashboards you help develop.
• Create procedures for triage, break-fix, return-to-service validation, and train site teams.
• Manage RMA and reverse logistics with OEMs/ODMs and depot repair vendors, including warranty claims.
• Set spares pool sizing and stocking levels by site to avoid gating repairs.
• Analyze failure patterns to drive corrective actions with hardware engineering and suppliers.
• Lead cadence with vendor/site leads including weekly repair reviews and action follow-ups.
• Communicate repair constraints, risks, and fleet availability to engineering and leadership.
