Job summary

IREN seeks a Sr. Manager to own global spare parts and RMA strategy for AI hardware across data center footprints. Lead stocking, SLA targets, and inventory governance with OEMs, repair providers, and logistics partners to maximize uptime and minimize excess.

You will drive root-cause analysis, monitor metrics, and collaborate with Data Center Operations, Engineering, Materials Management, and Finance to optimize repair cycles and lifecycle costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 7+ years in spare parts, materials management, reverse logistics, RMA management, after-market operations, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Experience managing spare parts and RMA programs for GPUs, servers, networking equipment, storage, optics, or data center infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of OEM warranty programs, RMA processes, repair operations, depot services, replacement policies, and reverse logistics.

Responsibilities

• Own the global spare parts and RMA management strategy for AI hardware across IREN’s data center footprint.
• Develop stocking strategies for critical spare GPUs, servers, switches, optics, cables, power components, and other hardware.
• Establish service-level targets and inventory policies to maximize hardware availability while minimizing excess inventory.
• Manage spare inventory positioning across suppliers, regional warehouses, data centers, and repair facilities.
• Own the end-to-end RMA process from failure identification to inventory disposition.
• Establish relationships with OEMs, repair providers, logistics partners, and service suppliers.
• Negotiate supplier commitments for RMA turnaround time, advance replacement, repair rates, warranty coverage, service levels, and replacement inventory.
• Partner with Data Center Operations and Engineering to standardize processes for identifying failed equipment, initiating RMAs, shipping defective hardware, and installing replacements.
• Monitor RMA cycle times, failure rates, repair yields, and supplier performance.
• Drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions with OEMs and suppliers for recurring hardware failures.
• Partner with Materials Management and Procurement to replenish spare inventory based on consumption and installed base.
• Establish processes for managing serialized assets, warranty status, repair history, and hardware lifecycle information.
• Develop policies for disposition of repaired, replaced, failed, obsolete hardware.
• Coordinate reverse logistics including transportation, customs, packaging, and regional requirements.
• Develop and maintain dashboards covering spare inventory, inventory turns, service levels, and RMA metrics.
• Establish recurring operating cadences with OEMs, repair providers, and internal teams to review performance and risks.
• Identify opportunities to reduce repair cycle time and total lifecycle cost.
• Partner with Finance to manage inventory investment, warranty recoveries, and obsolescence exposure.
• Support global spare and RMA operations across EMEA and APAC.
• Continuously improve spare parts and RMA processes, systems, reporting, and supplier governance.
