Job summary

Tract Capital is seeking an Associate on the Project Development team to drive end-to-end data center development from site acquisition through disposition. You will coordinate across investments, legal, engineering, procurement, leasing and construction to keep projects on schedule.

The role requires 2-4 years in data center or infrastructure development; Bachelor's degree, JD/MBA/MSRE preferred. Location options include New York, Morristown, NJ, or remote with travel roughly 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (JD, MBA, or MSRE/MSRED) strongly preferred.
• 2-4 years of direct, hands-on experience in data center, energy, infrastructure, or industrial development; multi-stakeholder project environments.

Responsibilities

• Advance full-lifecycle data center development workstreams from site acquisition through disposition, tracking milestones and surfacing issues.
• Coordinate permitting across federal, state, and local jurisdictions with consultants and internal stakeholders.
• Support power and energy infrastructure workstreams, including interconnection and battery storage, coordinating with internal teams and external partners.
• Assist in financing activities including diligence materials, Excel models, and lender requests across projects.
• Participate in procurement of long-lead data center equipment and monitor project deliverables.
