Job summary

Nscale is seeking a Development Associate to help advance AI data center sites across the Americas. You will work with development managers to move projects from origination through diligence, entitlement, and permitting to Final Investment Decision, reporting to the Director, Data Center Development.

The role emphasizes organization, analytics, and collaboration across teams, with growth opportunities into a Development Manager role in a remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Urban Planning, or a related discipline.
• 1+ years of related experience in real estate, infrastructure, construction, finance, or consulting.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage many moving pieces across concurrent projects.
• Strong analytical and writing skills; distill complex information into clear summaries.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Support development managers in advancing a portfolio of AI data center sites from origination through diligence and FID.
• Maintain project schedules, milestone trackers, budgets, and risk registers across assigned projects.
• Coordinate day-to-day with external consultants and with internal Energy and Power, Design, and Preconstruction teams.
• Prepare meeting materials, agendas, and follow-ups to keep project workstreams moving.
