Job summary

JLL is seeking an Associate Project Manager for data center projects, remotely located in the United States. You will support delivery of mission-critical infrastructure, coordinate day-to-day activities, manage documentation and client communications, and learn data centre requirements and 24/7 operation needs.

You will work under senior PMs to gain hands-on experience with MEP systems, budgeting, and approvals, while developing your project management career in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, business, or related field.
• 2-5 years of project coordination or related experience; data centre experience preferred but not required.
• Strong organisational, documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate data center construction activities and track deliverables.
• Maintain meeting minutes, action item logs, RFIs, submittals, change orders and progress reports.
• Coordinate project meetings, agendas and follow up on actions.
• Assist with document control and ensure current drawings and specs are accessible.
• Support scheduling using MS Project, Primavera P6 or similar.
• Assist with budget tracking, invoices and monthly cost reports.
• Support client communications and stakeholder updates.
• Help ensure safety, codes and data center standards compliance.
