AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer for the Data Center and Mission Critical team in the east region. The role focuses on data center HVAC design, heat rejection, CFD analysis, and redundancy to support scalable, efficient facilities.

The position offers remote work within the US and occasional travel for client meetings and milestones. A PE license is required, with opportunity for career mobility within a global team.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field required.
• P.E. license required; professional engineering certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Data Center Heat Rejection and HVAC system design for data centers ensuring energy efficiency and reliability.
• Cooling system selection including CRAHs, chilled water, DX, and containment solutions.
• CFD analysis to optimize airflow, hotspots, and system performance.
• Design redundancy and fault tolerance for continuous operation of data centers.
• Heat load calculations and capacity planning for IT equipment and future growth.
• Implement energy-efficient HVAC strategies and air quality controls.
• Coordinate with electrical/mechanical systems integration including UPS and fire suppression.
