Job summary

CoreSite is seeking a Data Center Interconnection Specialist to design, implement, and support inside and outside cable plant across multi-site environments in the United States, including Florida. You will drive DCIM integration, coordinate with field operations, and shape interconnection architecture to ensure high availability and scalable capacity.

The role requires 5+ years in data center interconnection design, strong leadership, and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in data center interconnection design and operations.
• 2+ years' experience with managing physical cable plants
• 2+ years' experience with DCIM tools
• Experience running MDF/IDF architecture in multi-tenant data centers

Responsibilities

• Design and architecture of interconnection technology with emphasis on optimizations, high availability configurations and new offerings.
• Implement DCIM platform into production workflow.
• Occasional travel to data center sites for planning, installation, or support needs.
• Attend industry trade shows as needed.
• Establish testing standards for interconnection products.
• Improve processes related to interconnection product delivery.
• Establish engineering standards for MDF, IDF, intra-building connectivity and outside plant connectivity.
• Provide training to new hire field operations personnel and SMEs.
• Produce network topology diagrams for internal needs.
